Following your mommy makeover procedure, you may be required to wear a special garments to help minimize swelling and support healing. Pain medication can be used to control discomfort. It is important to follow all patient care instructions provided by your surgeon to ensure a quick and safe recovery and see the results that you desire. This can be a large procedure if you are treating multiple areas of the body. You will want to prepare to have help post-surgery.

Yes, this procedure will result in some scarring. However, the location of the scarring will depend on the incisions created during your procedure. Your surgeon will place incisions as carefully as possible to minimize this. Scars are typically hidden, but depending on the areas you would like treated, some scars may be visible.

You may be able to return to work about two weeks after this surgery, depending on the nature of your job. This time can vary depending on your specific procedure and how many areas of the body will be treated.
